I'm having a hard time deciding what to get Mom for Mother's Day this year, so I went in search of some unique Mother's Day gift ideas on the internets. I found some really cool ideas on Amazon at the link below:

If you have kids, the idea of cleaning all of those bedrooms probably has you terrified. But guess what? You’re not cleaning all of those bedrooms: THEY ARE!
That’s right! Unless your children are babies, it’s time they took charge of their own bedrooms. Now, you might be thinking that it would be easier to do it yourself than to get them to do it. And you may be right. But you’ll be doing them a huge favor by teaching them this valuable lesson.
Yesterday, we started our spring cleaning challenge by cleaning our bathrooms. Today, I’m going to tell you all about kitchen cleaning. I haven’t done mine yet, but maybe next weekend. Hey, I’m tired from cleaning my bathroom yesterday!
1. Just like yesterday, we’re going to start at the top of the room and clean our light fixtures first. You should also take a broom to the corners of the room and brush away any cobwebs that might have accumulated throughout the winter. Wipe the tops of your cabinets, the top of your refrigerator, and any other places that tend to gather dust, including the top of your range hood.
What is it about spring that makes us want to throw open the windows and suddenly realize that our homes are a disaster? Perhaps it’s the extra hours of daylight streaming through our fingerprinted glass that makes us notice the layer of dust on the baseboards and the smudges on our light switch plates. Whatever it is, I don’t think I’m alone in feeling like my house could really use a good spring cleaning right now. I’m probably also not alone in reminding myself that I’m too lazy to partake in such nonsense. We need a plan.
So, how about a spring cleaning challenge? As part of this challenge, we will pick one room of our house for a thorough cleaning each week. By the end of the season, our houses will be clean, right?
