In my blog posts, I have promised to share with you ways to save money. So, I’d be holding back out of embarrassment and modesty if I didn’t divulge one of my biggest money savers: the Diva Cup. It has kind of changed my life in a big way. NOTE: If you don’t want to hear about tampons, periods, or vaginas then do not read any further. Consider this your warning. |

We all want to save money whenever we can, but bargain brands aren’t always a bargain. It’s important to pay attention and learn when it’s best to just go for the name brand. I had an experience recently with my Swiffer Sweeper that proves this point.
I love this time of year. I've been picking veggies like a mad woman this past week; canning and freezing... and eating! I now have jars of homemade salsa and chili base, as well as a couple of big bags of fresh green beans that just went into my freezer about a half hour ago.

You heard all about how your eight-year-old’s best friend got to go to Disney World this summer. You want to give your daughter a vacation that fills her wildest dreams, but not for $1,000 a day or more! At my age, I still have the fondest memories of the vacations my parents took my sisters and me on. I’ve never met Ariel or Belle or ridden through Never, Never Land, but looking back, I appreciate more (and pass on to my children) the camping trips my parents planned for us. |
